Best Week Ever - Episode 3

Getting to know what life is like at 10,200+ feet…

On the third day of the 'Best Week Ever,' Ryan's adventure takes him on a breathtaking journey from Leadville to the charming destination of Vail, a day filled with exploration and camaraderie.

Joining Ryan on this leg of the journey is Ty Hall, an integral figure in the Leadville outdoor community. As the owner of the Tennessee Pass Nordic Center & Cookhouse, Ty's love for hitting the trails and his remarkable accomplishment of being a 20-time finisher of the Leadville Trail 100 race make him the ideal riding companion.

Before delving into the lesser-known single tracks that awaited them, the crew took the opportunity to explore remnants of old mines, adding a historical dimension to their adventure. With Ty as their local guide, Ryan and the team were treated to the discovery of secret spots, navigating a terrain that transitioned from rugged 4x4 roads to pristine single tracks weaving through the enchanting aspen groves.

As he made his way towards Vail, the journey offered a more relaxed pace compared to the challenging transfers of previous days. This respite allowed Ryan to fully immerse himself in the breathtaking scenery, savoring the beauty that surrounded him.
