Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes.
I can take a project from early creative development through pre-production, directing, filming, photography, editing and final delivery.
For larger productions, I assemble the right crew and production support around the concept.
For smaller productions, I can keep things incredibly lean.
-
Most productions land between $15K and $75K, with some smaller and some larger than that!
The budget usually follows the size of the project we’re trying to create: how many days we’re outside, how far we’re traveling, how many people are involved, and how many different places the story needs to live afterward.
A $15K film can still be beautiful and award-winning (and has been!)
A $75K campaign can simply give us more days, more places, more people and more assets to look and feel super special.
Either way, I’d rather spend the money on what makes the content better than make the production feel bigger than it needs to be :)
-
Totally! I can join an agency or existing production company as director, or build and lead the entire production myself.
Whatever you need, I got you :)
-
For sure!
For many outdoor campaigns, combining film and photography is one of the best ways to get more value from the athletes, locations and production days already being funded.
Depending on the scope, I'll photograph the campaign myself or bring in additional photographers so both mediums get the attention they deserve.
-
A little of all three :)
I can come onto a project purely as a director, work as a small filmmaking team, or build out the full production around the idea.
Some projects need three athletic people and cameras in backpacks.
Others need producers, photographers, sound mixers, stylists, drone operators and a much larger crew.
The story and budget decides how big or small I work!
